Drake Maye's Wife Sends Message After Bo Nix News

The Denver Broncos lost to Drake Maye and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship in the recent NFL playoffs, 10-7. Denver played without their starting quarterback in the contest, as Bo Nix suffered an injury and was ruled out.

Nix broke a bone in his right ankle against the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round, forcing him to miss the rest of the playoffs. The 26-year-old signal-caller recorded 3,931 passing yards and 25 touchdowns during the regular season, so it wasn’t surprising to see Denver struggle offensively without him.

Despite the unfortunate end to his second year in the NFL, though, Nix still had something to celebrate. Apparently, just a month after their postseason loss, the Broncos star welcomed his first child with his wife, Izzy Nix.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Mrs. Nix announced that they welcomed a baby girl — named Riley Belle Nix — last Feb. 25. Interestingly, that was also the Broncos QB’s birthday.

“Riley Belle Nix,” Nix’s wife wrote, along with a photo of themselves with their newborn. “Arrived on her dad’s birthday — 2/25/26 at 4:45pm, 6 lbs 11 oz. The best birthday party I’ve ever been to!!!!!!”

Naturally, fans and their peers were quick to celebrate the occasion. One message that stood out, however, was from Maye’s wife, Ann Michael Maye. She was ecstatic to see the newborn and expressed her delight for the now family of three.

“Congratulations!!! So precious,” the wife of the Patriots QB wrote.

For what it’s worth, the two women have been cheering for each other despite their husbands being competitors in the same conference. When the Maye couple got engaged in 2025, Mrs. Nix was among the first to celebrate the moment.

Clearly, they remain supportive of each other despite the rivalry of their husbands.

For what it’s worth, the NFL commented on the post as well and even shared the news on its social media page, writing, “Congrats to @bonix10 and his wife Izzy on the birth of their baby girl.”

The Broncos also congratulated the couple and created a separate post to welcome a new member of the family.
