The Europe Top 16 Cup was held in Montreux, Switzerland. This year, Truls Moregard, Felix Lebrun, Alexis Lebrun, and Dang Qiu were the top four seeds. In the top half of the draw, both top seeds fell. Truls Moregard lost in the Round of 16 to Marcos Freitas 3-1. In the same round, Dang Qiu lost 3-2 to Tomislav Pucar. Benedikt Duda and Darko Jorgic eventually emerged to reach the Semifinals. Duda defeated both Anton Kallberg and Marcos Frietas. Jorgic beat Jonathan Groth and then Pucar.
In the bottom half of the draw, the top two seeds emerged. Felix Lebrun logged a pair of dominant wins with a 3-0 win over Alvaro Robles and a 3-0 win over Anders Lind. Alexis Lebrun had a tougher time, needing a 3-2 win over Simon Gauzy to emerge to face his brother. in the Semifinals on Sunday.
