Duleep Trophy 2024 Day 2 Match Updates, In a thrilling day 2 of the Duleep Trophy, both matches showcased the fighting spirit in them. India A, with calm and composed batting, managed to gain control of the first match. Shreyas Iyer and Devdutt Padikkal showcased their skills with amazing fifties to guide their team to a decent total. Early on in the day Musheer Khan unfortunately missed out on double hundred by just 19 runs.

At the end of Day 2 at Bengaluru, the India A team trailed by 187 runs, while in Anantapur India D led by 202 runs. Day 2 of this new domestic cricket was fun filled with action-packed performances from all four teams. However, in both matches, we saw players giving their best in order to catch the eyes of selectors.

From Musheer Khan’s 150 to Manav Suthar’s five-wicket haul is what made this day 2 of the Duleep Trophy interesting and entertaining. Even players like Shreyas Iyer, Devdutt Padikkal, KL Rahul showed the fans their capabilities.

India-A vs India-B: KL Rahul, Riyan Parag Standing Tall

India A started off the Day with 202/7 on board, where they had Musheer Khan and Navdeep Saini to continue the innings. However, in the process of reaching a double hundred the Mumbai batter Musheer Khan sadly missed out this feet by just 19 runs as he was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav after scoring 181 runs in 373 balls.

Navdeep Saini also played a wonderful innings as he anchored the score along with Musheer. Even though he was able to score big runs the allrounder played a mature innings as he scored 56 runs from 144 balls. In the end, India B ended their innings for 321/10 in 116 overs.

In reply India A team was strong on their crease as both openers were looking strong but however Navdeep Saini after doing the job with bat, came in to do the job with the ball as he picked apart both the openers of India A team (Mayank Agarwal & Shubman Gill). Now with Parag and Rahul on the crease well settled the India A team will be looking to build the innings from the start of Day 3.

India-C vs India-D: Manav Suthar OutShine India-D Team

In Anantapur, the match was pretty end-to-end, where the India D team came back strong in the second innings as Shreyas Iyer, Devdutt Padikkal, and Ricky Bhui all contributed their part but currently it is yet again in the hands of Axar Patel. With two wickets in hand and 202 runs lead the India D team will be looking to add on more runs on Day 3.

Manav Suthar was the standout bowler for India C as he picked up five wickets to outclass the India D team on Day 2 of this Duleep Trophy. India C team will be looking to take the remaining two wickets as early as possible and try to chase down the target calmly and maturely.

Day 3 of the Duleep trophy is looking to be entertaining with both matches in a thrilling situation.
