Eddie Kingston’s Insane AEW Contract Length Revealed

Eddie Kingston reveals the length of his AEW contract.

The Mad King is currently involved in a world title program in All Elite Wrestling. He is set to challenge Samoa Joe for the world title at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming later tonight.

Ahead of the match, Kingston sat down with Gabby LaSpisa on Gabby AF to discuss various topics. While previewing the world title bout with Joe, Kingston disclosed the length of his current contract with the company.

“I’m not supposed to win,” Kingston said. “I don’t give a f*ck. He’s not going to kill me. I’m going to wake up the next day and move forward. Guess what, I have six years left on my contract, and I want to make my money, and then buy a place in Alaska and get the f*ck away from society. Get me the f*ck to Alaska. As long as I can watch the Yankees, Giants, Knicks, and Rangers. I’m good. Leave me alone.” [H/T: Fightful]

Eddie Kingston hopes to hit 30 years in wrestling

Elsewhere in the interview, Kingston said he hopes to hit thirty years in wrestling even if he doesn’t get the opportunity to compete at Japan’s Nippon Budokan or win the AEW World Championship.

“I would like to hit 30 years,” Eddie Kingston admitted. “If none of those two things (competing at Budokan and winning the AEW World Championship) happen, I would still like to hit 30 years because that’s the number the old-school guys always strived for. So I would like to hit 30.”

When asked what year would that be for thirty, Kingston said: “Probably the end of my contract. Because I’m at 25 now.”
