Former England captain Eoin Morgan has included Rahul Dravid in his list of candidates who can be a replacement to Matthew Mott who recently stepped down from the position of England’s white-ball coach. Mott stepped down from the job following England’s disappointing ODI World Cup 2023 and T20 World Cup 2024 campaigns.
Dravid, who stepped down from the position of Indian team’s head coach after winning the T20 World Cup, is currently not in any role with a team and Morgan was quick to add him to the list of potential candidates which included the likes of Stephen Fleming, Ricky Ponting and England’s current red-ball coach, Brendon McCullum.
“In my eyes, at the moment, you would go to Rahul Dravid, Ricky Ponting, Stephen Fleming, and Brendon McCullum. I say McCullum because I believe he is one of the best coaches in the world,” he added.
