EA Sports announced Wednesday that the finals for the ePremier League China will take place in Shanghai from Jan. 10 – 11, utilizing the mobile version of its popular football game EA Sports FC.
A joint effort between EA Sports FC and the Premier League, the second edition of the ePremier League China highlights the top players in the region in the mobile version of the game.
EA Sports says that the journey to these finals began with a nationwide search for the top FC Mobile players during the online qualifiers in December. The top 128 players from online qualifiers then competed in three rounds to determine the top 20 players, who advanced to represent each Premier League club in the ePL China Grand Finals.
The finals are set to take place in Jintie City Square in Shanghai. In a bit of a twist, EA Sports has decided to pair each of the final 20 qualified players with a KOL or influencer from across the gaming and sports industries. Players will also use “customized line-ups based on official 2025/26 Premier League club squads” to compete in a series of matches to determine the overall champion.
