ESL FACEIT Group Renews ZOWIE Partnership for Counter-Strike 2 Events

International tournament organizer ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) announced Thursday that it has expanded its partnership with ZOWIE, naming it the official monitor supplier for all of its major Counter-Strike 2 tournaments through 2026 and 2027.

EFG signed its initial partnership with the BENQ-owned gaming monitor brand in 2025, naming it a global partner.

At ZOWIE, our mission is to support competitive players with equipment designed purely for performance,” said Jay Wu, president of BenQ Europe B.V. “Expanding our partnership with ESL FACEIT Group allows us to contribute meaningfully to the Counter-Strike [2] ecosystem by delivering consistent, high-performance tournament environments worldwide. With the XL2586X+ 600Hz monitor, we remain committed to advancing esports technology and enabling players to perform at their very best.”

The expanded agreement covers Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) and ESL Pro League events worldwide including the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) 2026 and 2027 events in Cologne, China, Rio, Atlanta, and Krakow; and ESL Pro League Seasons 23 and 24 (2026), as well as Seasons 25 and 26 (2027). In turn, ZOWIE will provide its XL2586X+ monitors at all of the aforementioned major Counter-Strike 2 tournaments.

Further, the ZOWIE brand will be integrated across broadcasts, during livestreams, and onsite at events, as well as stage takeovers and fans interactions and activations.

EFG is owned by Savvy Games Group, a Public Investment Fund-owned games company that also owns mobile games maker Scopely, Japanese developer SNK Corporation, and controls the Saudi Arabian government’s portfolio of game-related investments.
