ESPN’s top NFL broadcast team, which includes Laura Rutledge and Mina Kimes, has headed to Lucas Oil Stadium for “Monday Night Football” as the Indianapolis Colts host the San Francisco 49ers for the final game of Week 16. All eyes are on Philip Rivers, who came out of retirement to take on the role of Indianapolis’ starting quarterback. The 44-year-old is looking to secure his first win of the season after the Colts’ 18-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15.
Rutledge and Kimes were in the building for the primetime showdown. They have firmly established themselves as two of the top NFL personalities for ESPN, and they were back on the job for the network’s live broadcast of the Colts-Niners game.

Rutledge has been with ESPN since 2014. She started off as a reporter for SEC Network and ESPN, and she has since climbed the ranks to become, among other things, the host of the network’s daily football show, “NFL Live.” In February, ESPN announced Rutledge’s multi-year contract extension. The full details of the new deal, however, were not disclosed publicly.
Kimes, on the other hand, started off as a writer for ESPN when she joined the network also in 2014. She, too, has become one of the most prominent and respected NFL analysts in the industry. The 40-year-old also hosts her own NFL podcast, “The Mina Kimes Show.”
Apart from being two of ESPN’s top reporters, Rutledge and Kimes have also emerged as fashion icons among fans. Ahead of Monday’s kickoff, Kimes took to social media to share a photo of their accidentally coordinated outfits for “Monday Night Football.”
“I swear we didn’t plan this 🎄” Kimes captioned her post.
Kimes went with a fitted, off-shoulder long-sleeve top in deep burgundy. She paired it with high-waited tailored trousers in the same tone. The ESPN analyst finished off her polished and sophisticated look with pointed-toe heels in a coordinating burgundy shade.
As for Rutledge, the former beauty queen wore a fitted long-sleeve knit top in dark forest green. She put on a matching high-waisted mini skirt in the same color. For her footwear, the 37-year-old mom-of-two went with knee-high black leather boots paired with black sheer tights.
Kimes and Rutledge’s outfits quickly turned heads on social media.
