Ethan Page’s WWE Main Roster Status After NXT North American Title Loss

Ethan Page’s NXT North American Championship run may be over, but new details suggest his next move could be much bigger.

Page lost the NXT North American Championship to Myles Borne on the February 24 episode of WWE NXT, ending a dominant reign that lasted 273 days. The run tied the record for the longest North American Title reign in history alongside Oba Femi.

The rivalry didn’t stop there. On the March 3 episode of NXT, Borne defeated Page once again in an impromptu rematch where both competitors wrestled while still wearing their suits. Now an update has surfaced regarding Page’s future following the title loss.

According to Bodyslam.net, Page has been discussed internally as a potential candidate for a WWE main roster move.

“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Ethan Page has been talked about a lot regarding a potential main roster move.”

The report also noted that Page may not be leaving NXT immediately.

“Another source noted that Page is expected to make the move to the main event title scene in NXT again before officially heading to the main roster.”

That means Page could still have unfinished business in NXT’s main event picture before eventually making the jump to Raw or SmackDown. For now, his title loss to Myles Borne may have closed one chapter, but the conversation about his next step inside WWE appears to already be underway.

Do you think Ethan Page is ready for the WWE main roster, or should he stay in NXT’s main event scene a bit longer? Let us know your thoughts and share your feedback in the comments.
