The 27-year-old gained fame for his incredible finishing abilities, particularly for his five consecutive sixes in the final over of a chase against Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2023. Rinku Singh once again made headlines during the IPL 2025 clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and the defending champions. This time, his target was the Indian batting legend Rohit Sharma. In a playful interaction, he approached the Indian opener and asked for his bat. The moment turned entertaining when fellow MI players Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya joined in, and teased the youngster in a funny manner. Indian T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav also joined the fun in his typical fashion. In a social media story, he posted a picture of himself in conversation with Rinku, captioned humorously: “Theek hai bat le lena” (Okay, take the bat).
