Rohit Sharma supports Virat Kohli ahead of the World Cup finals

Team India’s captain Rohit Sharma has shown himself to be a good decision maker when it comes to cricket. The player showed great form when it was much needed, scoring 92 against Australia in the Super 8 match.

However, Virat Kohli’s recent performance has left some questions for the captain. Rohit sided with his teammate with class, vouching for him and reminding everyone how good of a player Kohli can be.

“He (Kohli) is a quality player. Any player can go through that. We do understand his class, and we do understand his importance in all these big games. Form is never a problem. When you’ve played cricket for 15 years, form is never a problem. He’s looking good, the intent is there, and he’s probably saving for the final. Absolutely (backing Kohli for the final),” Rohit said in the post-match presentation after India’s 68-run over England in the semi-final. (ANI)
