F1 Academy, the female-only, Formula-4 level single-seater racing championship has revealed the seven locations where it will race next year, supporting seven Formula One weekends.

F1 Academy is a female-only, Formula 4–level single-seater racing championship founded by the Formula One Group. The championship is a spec series, meaning that all teams compete with an identical Tatuus F4-T421 chassis and tyre compounds developed by Pirelli. Each car is powered by a 174-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine developed by Autotecnica Motori.

F1 Academy held its inaugural season in 2023 and was won by Marta García. The 2024 drivers’ championship was won by Rodin Motorsport’s Abbi Pulling whilst Prema Racing retained the team’s championship for 2024. 2025 saw Doriane Pin claim the title as Prema held the team’s championship for the third year straight.

The all-female series has now confirmed its schedule for the 2026 season, which will once again feature seven rounds in support of Formula One.

All rounds will feature two races, meaining that the fourth season of the all-female series will again comprise 14 races. Furthermore, it will maintain the reverse grid format for one race at each event .

Two new locations

The 2026 season will see the F1 Academy field return to Shanghai, Jeddah, and Montreal, before heading to Silverstone for Round 4 to be part of the British Grand Prix for the first time.

After a relatively long break, the series will then be welcomed back to the sand dunes of Zandvoort, before concluding with two
rounds in the United States. Circuit of the Americas rejoins the calendar for the first time since its maiden appearance in its inaugural season, before the series concludes once again at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit .

Commenting on the new calendar for 2026, Formula One’s President and CEO Stefano Domenicali added:“In just three seasons, F1 Academy has developed some fantastic drivers and grown a huge and passionate fanbase all over the world.

“It inspires women and girls to consider a role in motorsport, be that on or off the track, by removing barriers and showing what can be done. I would like to thank Susie Wolff and her team for their drive and vision in creating such an outstanding series, and congratulate 2025 Champion, Doriane Pin , for her incredible achievement.

“I’m also grateful to our race promoters for their enthusiasm and commitment to making F1 ACADEMY a key fixture at their Grand Prix weekends. We’ve also seen fantastic growth in grassroots participation, which is vital for the future of the sport. Next season is set to be another brilliant year, and I can’t wait to see how the 2026 grid performs.”

Speaking of the schedule for the 2026 season, F1 Academy’s Managing Director Susie Wolff noted:“Our 2026 F1 ACADEMY calendar reflects the momentum we’re building and the visibility we’re earning across the sport.

“Silverstone and Austin are two fantastic additions to our 2026 roster, and returning to five established races gives us our strongest calendar yet, closing once again in Las Vegas where we aim to finish the season with the same style and flair we delivered this year.”
