Today’s Monday Mindset: Fill Your Cup
Just enjoying a quiet weekend here. And I was thinking about just the importance of doing something to take care of yourself. And as it’s a quiet weekend, I’ve been going for a walk and about to get a workout in.
So my challenge and encouragement is:
Think about what are you doing if it’s not daily, at least weekly, hopefully daily to take care of you because you can only give out of an overflow of what you have to give, and the best way to have an overflow is to do things that fill your cup.
And for me, something like taking care of my body fills my cup, or the time that I spend reading, or the time that I spend in prayer, or even the time that I spend serving or giving, or helping somebody else fills my cup.
So be aware of what fills your cup. Look for opportunities to do those things.
Once again, if it’s not daily, at least weekly to fill your cup, because you can only give out of an overflow of what you have.
That’s my challenge. And that’s your Monday Mindset.
