Fans have gotten their first look at WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk as part of the upcoming Netflix rom-com The Bodyguard.
A new on-set photo confirms that Punk is currently filming his role, giving fans of the Best in the World their first look at this latest acting role.
Punk is playing a character named “Doghouse,” described as a “physically intimidating member of the security detail” that is central to the plot.
The movie stars Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) and is based on Katherine Center’s 2022 novel of the same name.
The film will follow a bodyguard (Meester) hired to protect a movie star (Padalecki) from a stalker, only for things to turn romantic when she agrees to pose as his girlfriend.
Punk was last seen on WWE TV at Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, where he was attacked by a masked man and came up short in the Men’s WarGames match.
Punk is in his second reign as World Heavyweight Champion since returning to WWE. His first was ended in mere minutes by Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam 2025.
