Five V12 Aston Martins to race the opening round of the new SRO led GT3 Revival Series at Paul Ricard

Up to five gloriously sounding Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage GT3’s could be pounding the Mistral Straight of Le Castellet next weekend as the newly SRO coveted GT3 Revival Series gets under way at Paul Racard in support of two other mainstream SRO series.

Racing a five round season that will see the grid move across from southern France to the Spa Classic at the end of May before the Le Mans Classic in July before rounding off with visits to both the Nurburgring and Barcelona, the originally inspired Peter Auto lead series will be hitting new heights in both race entries and exposure from this season onwards.

Next weekend’s event will see approximately thirty-one, no longer FIA homologated GT3 entries embark upon two fifty-minute races on Sunday 11th April in support of the opening rounds to both the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and GT4 European Series at the circuit.

As a best guess about livery designs (as most of the forty off AMR V12 Vantage GT3 platforms ran with differing liveries and indeed teams during their mainstay racing life before hitting that of now an historic) we called see designs reminiscent of the days of The Racers Group, TF Sport, R-Motorsport and GT Open.
