Fizik releases the Kyros, a versatile helmet that “balances performance with all-around comfort and protection”

As part of its growing helmet collection, Fizik is releasing Kyros, a versatile helmet that balances performance with all-around comfort and protection. Developed for a wide range of disciplines, including road, gravel, or cross-country riding, Kyros has a sleek, rounded profile that delivers consistent cooling while maintaining a compact, low-profile silhouette.

Kyros sits across the range of helmets developed by Fizik to cover every major riding discipline. Dropbar options from Fizik already include the Kudo and Kudo Aero, for Tri or TT riders, there is the Kunee, and for flat bar trail riders, Fizik offers the Kassis. This growing collection reflects a continued shift for the brand to offer its hallmark levels of attention to fit, performance, and rider comfort from head to toe.

For decades, fizik has powered the sport of cycling, redefining performance across nearly all disciplines. First came saddles, then bar tape, then shoes. Now fizik is extending its unique touch of aesthetics and performance to helmets. Building on decades of experience across shoes and saddles, the growing helmet range is designed to offer the same considered balance of comfort, efficiency, and protection, shaped by the needs of modern riders and racers across road and off-road disciplines.

Within this evolving lineup, Fizik is focused on making its high-level design and protective technologies more accessible, without losing the attention to detail seen in its top-tier products. Helmets like Kyros sit within that broader line as a versatile mid-range option, complementing the brand’s existing technology, like the fizik crown fit system that is present throughout the range. The addition of Kyros reinforces a more complete, head-to-toe system from fizik, built around how riders actually move and perform on the bike.

VERSATILITY MEETS PROTECTION

Kyros is one of the most versatile options in Fizik’s growing helmet collection, designed for riders who move seamlessly between tarmac, gravel paths, and forest trails. Whether you’re out on a Sunday group ride or weaving through tight singletrack on your XC loop, Kyros balances high-performance features with all-day comfort and reliable protection.

SLEEK PERFORMANCE, PROVEN PROTECTION

With a sleek, rounded design that reduces bulk, this helmet offers efficient thermoregulation and a low overall weight. Strategically placed vents ensure consistent airflow and an open design at the back of the helmet helps dissipate heat efficiently. Kyros’s side vents can securely hold sunglasses when not in use. Certified to both EU and CPSC standards, Kyros delivers top-tier impact protection, giving users the ability to ride with confidence.

CROWN-FIT ADJUSTMENT

Kyros’ fit system offers advanced adjustability through a bespoke crown adjustment feature, allowing riders to fine-tune the helmet’s shape by positioning detachable red pins in three different settings for a personalised fit that conforms to the exact shape of the head. A micrometric dial at the back of the helmet enables tilt adjustment, enhancing both comfort and eyewear compatibility. Lightweight webbing around the ears further improves adjustability and all-day comfort.

George Huxford Snr Marketing Manager at Fizik says, “We are very excited to bring Crown Fit Technology to a wider group of riders with Kyros. A simple, elegant solution to re-shape the helmet without the need for extra padding, I’ve particularly enjoyed seeing the surprise on rider’s faces’ when a helmet that didn’t fit correctly on the initial try now matches the shape of their head, after only some minor adjustment.”

FURTHER IMPACT PROTECTION

Kyros features an EPS-PC shell engineered to effectively distribute impact forces across the helmet, offering full-coverage protection. For added safety, the MIPS Evolve Core system helps dissipate rotational forces during angled impacts. This lightweight, low-friction layer, positioned between the liner and the shell, delivers advanced protection without compromising comfort.

HELMET LIGHT

Like Fizik’s other drop bar helmets, Kyros can accommodate Fizik’s unique helmet light. Designed to increase cyclist visibility at the touch of a button, the light quickly integrates into the back of compatible helmets, without tools, to instantly improve safety. In the box, Kyros includes a blanking plate for the light fitment and a reflective tab that can be used in place of the light, giving riders a choice between an active or passive visibility aid. The light is available for purchase separately for: 29.00 €, $32.99, £29.99.
