It was a championship Sunday to remember for Florida tennis fans at the 2026 Delray Beach Open. Bradenton’s Sebastian Korda claimed the singles title while doubles specialist Austin Krajicek teamed with Croatia’s Nikola Mektic to win the doubles crown, giving the Sunshine State two champions at one of its biggest home events.
Korda Claims Singles Title in Dominant Fashion
Sebastian Korda capped off a remarkable week at the Delray Beach Open with a commanding 6-4, 6-3 victory over fellow American and fifth seed Tommy Paul in Sunday’s final. The win gave Korda his third career ATP Tour title and his first since the 2024 DC Open, ending an 18-month wait for silverware.
In the steamy conditions at the Delray Beach Stadium, Korda remained strong throughout the day. Korda earned a decisive break at 5-4 in the opening set and never looked back. When it mattered most, he showed nerves of steel. Serving for the championship, Korda found himself down three game points, but he dug out of the hole by and closed out the game to clinch the title in front of nearly 5,000 fans.
The path to the final was equally impressive. Korda entered the tournament unseeded and ranked No. 50 in the world, but he knocked off three top-25 players during the week, including second seed Casper Ruud in the quarterfinals and third seed Flavio Cobolli in the semifinals. He dropped just one set all tournament.
The title is a full-circle moment for Korda, who made his first ATP final at Delray Beach back in 2021. With the win, he is set to climb 10 spots to No. 40 in the world rankings. Korda grew up just three hours away in Bradenton and embraced the home crowd energy all week.
Krajicek and Mektic Rally to Win Doubles Crown
Austin Krajicek added another title to his impressive resume on Sunday, teaming with Nikola Mektic to win the doubles championship in dramatic fashion. The second-seeded pair defeated Americans Benjamin Kittay and Ryan Seggerman 6-7, 6-3, 11-9 in a match that went down to the wire.

Krajicek and Mektic found themselves facing a championship point at 8-9 in the match tiebreak but stayed composed, saving the point and rattling off the final three points to secure the win in one hour and 40 minutes. It was the first title together for the pairing, who combined for dominant serving throughout the tournament, winning 70% of their first-serve points in the final alone.
For Krajicek, a former world No. 1 doubles player, 2023 French Open doubles champion, and 2024 Olympic silver medalist, the Delray Beach title adds to an already decorated career. Winning on home soil in Florida made it even more special.
A Florida Sweep
Two Florida players lifting trophies on the same day at one of the state’s premier tennis events is a moment worth celebrating. Korda’s singles breakthrough and Krajicek’s doubles dominance put a Florida stamp on the 2026 Delray Beach Open and gave fans across the Sunshine State plenty to cheer about.
