More than a decade after their first fight, Floyd
Mayweather and Manny
Pacquiao are going to run it back.

Mayweather-Pacquiao 2 will take place on Sept. 19 at the Sphere in
Las Vegas and will stream on Netflix, the streaming platform
announced on Monday. After years of circling each other for a
blockbuster bout, Mayweather and Pacquaio initially squared of in
2015, with “Money” winning a clear-cut unanimous decision.

Mayweather, 48, hasn’t fought professionally since defeating former

UFC two-division champion Conor
McGregor via 10th-round TKO in August 2017. However, the former
champion has competed in a number of exhibitions, facing the likes
of Tenshin
Nasukawa, Logan Paul,
Mikuru
Asakura and John Gotti
III, to name a few. Mayweather, who owns a 50-0 professional
mark, is expected to face Mike Tyson in an exhibition bout this
April in the Congo.

The 47-year-old Pacquiao is 62-8-3 as a professional. The Filipino
standout fought more recently, battling Mario Barros to a majority
draw this past July. “Pac Man” also has an exhibition bout
scheduled before the Mayweather rematch, as he will face Ruslan
Provodnikov in Las Vegas on April 18.

‘Full Circle Moment’

The Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch will be the second combat sports
event to be held at the Sphere. The first was UFC 306, which was
held in September 2024.

“Earlier in my career, I spent weeks in Floyd
Mayweather and Manny
Pacquiao’s training camps in Las Vegas and the Philippines,”
Gabe Spitzer, vice president of sports at Netflix, said in a press
release. “It was undeniable that they were the two hardest workers
in boxing, and their wins and accolades were a product of that.

“Bringing this rematch to Netflix is a massive ‘full circle’
moment. We’re thrilled to combine their storied rivalry with the
immersive technology of Sphere to deliver a landmark sporting event
to our members worldwide.”
