The Ford Mustang GT3 will form part of Assetto Corsa Evo’s v0.6 build, it has been revealed.
The Blue Oval’s GT3 protagonist, which was built in collaboration with U.S-based engineering firm Multimatic Motorsports, will arrive alongside the previously-teased Ferrari 296 GT3 in the game’s next Early Access update.
Powered by a raucous 5.3-litre Coyote V8 motor, the Mustang received an ‘Evo’ update kit in 2025. Judging by developer Kunos Simulazioni’s teaser, the car coming to AC Evo will be the first-generation car, which also appeared in the studio’s Assetto Corsa Competizione title in 2023.
The two cars will join the game’s incumbent GT3 challenger, the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, with Kunos’s Co-Founder and Executive Manager, Marco Massarutto, promising “Content-wise [0.6] will be more racing orientated, with more racing cars than 0.5.”
So, this may not be the final GT3 car to be released with v0.6…
No release date has been provided, but based on the teaser cadence, it could be only a couple of weeks away.
