Former Pakistani pacer slams his own player amid Babar Azam’s hundred in the ongoing champions cup

Babar Azam kept playing really well in limited-overs cricket, hitting a great hundred in his third game of the ongoing Champions One Day Cup in Pakistan. He scored an unbeaten 104 runs from 100 balls, helping Stallions beat Dolphins for the third time in a row. They won by a huge margin of 174 runs in Faisalabad.

After not doing so well in the home Test series against Bangladesh, Babar has been scoring lots of runs in the domestic limited-overs tournament. He started the Champions Cup with a 76-run performance against the Lions and scored 45 against the team led by Mohammad Rizwan. His match-winning hundred on Thursday made him the second-highest run scorer of the tournament with 225 runs.

Meanwhile, Babar’s fans are really happy and are making fun of people who criticize him. Not only fans, but also former cricket players are defending Babar on social media. Tanvir Ahmed, a former Pakistan fast bowler, criticized some cricketers who have been saying bad things about Babar, saying they make money on YouTube by criticizing the Pakistan T20I captain.

“Babar Azam scored a century, and I tweeted that he has silenced his critics with a great performance. We know why they are quiet now. They talk against Babar on YouTube to earn money because they haven’t played much cricket, so they can’t say much about the game. They keep criticizing Babar for making money on YouTube, but after his century, they have nothing to say. They are speechless.”

“Babar has been consistently scoring in the Champions Cup and has shown that he’s the best player. People who talk about getting rid of him should realize that Pakistan’s domestic cricket has plenty of talent,” he said.

People online thought Tanvir was criticizing Ahmad Shahzad, who has been criticizing Babar on social media for his mistakes. But Tanvir didn’t mention anyone by name in the video.
