Frank Warren unveils future Tyson Fury plans after Makhmudov

The Gypsy King’s return will be broadcast globally on Netflix, with the undercard and prelims recently confirmed. Queensberry’s Frank Warren has spoken to DAZN News, teasing when we can expect to see Fury again, should he defeat Makhmudov.

Not many were shocked when Tyson Fury announced his return to professional boxing. In various social media posts, Fury has exhibited confidence and spoken about facing the best fighters.
Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) last fought at the end of 2024, losing to Oleksandr Usyk for the second time. After over 12 months out of the ring, it remains to be seen how much Fury has left.
Speaking to DAZN News, Warren said: “Tyson’s got his finger on the pulse of what he wants to do.”
“I don’t feel he [Joshua] will be ready, but if he is and he wants to, Tyson’s there. If he doesn’t, Tyson will want to be having a big fight in August or September. That’s what he wants.
“Last year was about his TV series. His other commitments and documentary. This year is about getting to the number one position and that’s where his head is,” added Warren.
It’s difficult to envisage Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 3 or Usyk vs Wardley given the Ukrainians decision to vacate his WBO title. But do we really need to see Usyk vs Fury 3?
