You may already know of Big Priv, or Big James Privlidge. A rapper and mountain biker who has been making a name for himself in the MTB scene, with appearances at World Cup Downhill events, US Open DH races, and even Red Bull Rampage.
On top of his musical career and being the CEO of Priv Racing, he’s also collaborated with Frameworks Racing, provided insight and commentary at events, and now has a track with legendary race commentator Rob Warner. It’s a stretch saying that the two go bar for bar on this track, but “Lil Rob” might have a future in ad-libbing, but maybe he’s got some surprise 16’s written down…
The video and track made in collaboration with InvisiFRAME dropped earlier today, Jan. 9th, and although Warner doesn’t have a full verse on the track or offer much more than some ad-libs and a hook, this is still a crossover that no one saw coming. Thankfully, Big Priv is doing the heavy lifting with the bars, and his production crew made magic happen with the instrumental and mixing. While this might not be Warner’s new calling, or a track that gets steady play with the old-heads, I think (and hope) that 2026 is going to be the year we start seeing a lot more from Big Priv.
