AEW Dynasty 2026 went down on April 12, 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with a packed Rogers Arena hosting the pay-per-view.
One of the featured matches on the card saw the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line as FTR defended against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. It was one of the biggest bouts of the night and gave the Vancouver crowd a major tag team title fight with a true big-match feel.
With FTR’s championship run colliding with the history and chemistry of Copeland and Christian, the match stood out as one of the most talked-about title bouts on the entire show.
All Out was the last night that Christian Cage and Adam Copeland teamed up. Fans were ready to see the two Canadians take on FTR for the belts.
This match saw FTR getting the upperhand as champions, and they kept pressure on the veterans. There was some offence from E&C, like Christian hitting a Killswitch, but FTR was able to keep the match going in their direction.
These two teams worked so well together, and things got messy when Cash Wheeler brought the title belt into the ring. Then Copeland took a shot to the face, but he kicked out at two. The WWE Hall of Famer was cut open with that shot, and then he got a near fall of his own.
Cope was bleeding badly at that point, and then Stokely distracted him. FTR nailed a Shatter Machine, and he kicked out at two. The match continued, and then Christian tried to hit Cash with a chair, but Stoke took it away, only to have Cage sent into the ring post. Copeland was left alone with FTR, and they stalked him, but he fought them both off. Then FTR pulled a Superkick Party on Cope before trying an FTR Trigger, but Cope ducked and hit a double spear on them.
Finally, FTR nailed another Shatter Machine on Adam Copeland to retain the titles. This was a hard-fought win, and it left Copeland a bloody mess.
