Gary Robison Wins 2025 Senior PGA Professional Championship

Indiana Professional Golf Association, Indianapolis, IN (August 19) —

The 2025 Senior PGA Professional Championship brought drama, rain, and stellar play to Old Oakland Golf Club in Indianapolis. After two days of challenging conditions, Gary Robison emerged as champion, carding rounds of 69–72 to finish three-under par.

Day two tested the field’s patience and resilience, as heavy downpours forced a two-hour delay. Thanks to the tireless work of Old Oakland’s grounds crew—out with squeegees to keep the greens playable—players were able to return and finish their rounds.

The leaderboard shifted frequently throughout the final round. Several contenders made runs, but mistakes down the stretch proved costly. Craig Bowden, a familiar name in Indiana Golf, faltered late with bogeys on 14 and 17 followed by a double on 18, slipping out of the lead. Meanwhile, John DalCorobbo put together an impressive round, recording only a single bogey on the day. He finished one stroke behind Robison to take runner-up honors.

DalCorobbo’s has an exemption into the 2025 Senior PGA Championship, and for the next 9 years after winning the event in 2015. Joining Robison with qualifying spots are Mike O’Toole, Jim Keithley, Craig Bowden, and Tim Frazier, all of whom earned their way into one of golf’s most prestigious senior events.

With steady play and resilience through difficult weather, Robison etched his name as the 2025 Senior PGA Professional Champion—a title that reflects both his skill and composure under pressure.
