Gautam Gambhir is one of the finest cricketers to play for India in 21st century. While many argue that Gambhir was probably among the ‘best captains India ever had’, a significant trait about Gambhir has been his personality.
Remembering sharing the dressing room with Gambhir for Delhi Capitals, Akash Chopra admitted that Gambhir was always passionate character who would lose his cool quite quickly.
Further on while expanding on Gambhir’s short temper, Akash revealed Gambhir once telling him about a fight which he once had with a truck driver on the road. He stated that Gambhir climbed up the truck and held the collar of the truck driver.
“He has always been like that temperamentally. You never know when he loses his cool. He used to tell us that he fought with a truck driver. He got off his vehicle, climbed up the truck and held the driver’s collar because he overtook. I told him, ‘What are you doing, Gauti? He’s a truck driver… You are such a short guy,” said Chopra.
