Gear.Club Unlimited 3’s latest patch enhances the visuals and story mode progression.
Over one month on from its release, Gear.Club Unlimited 3 has received a substantial update, introducing over 50 improvements.
One of its main launch issues was its blurry image quality, particularly in handheld mode. According to the patch notes, the update addresses this with “enhanced visuals” in performance mode, along with improved performance in Quality mode and reduced visual pop-in.
It also adds a new “balanced” profile for handheld play that targets 40fps and a “battery life” profile that extends battery life in portable mode.

Additional changes have also been made to the story mode, with reordered car unlocks and difficulty balances for “smoother, more consistent progression.” Whether this addresses the slow AI opponents, one of the game’s most glaring issues, remains to be seen.
Featuring around 50 licensed cars, Gear.Club Unlimited 3 is a timed Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, with PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions coming at a later date.
