THE SEASON…
The Championship season saw Gloucestershire break its winless drought, dating back to the end of 2022, and take significant steps forward in consistency with bat and ball. Gone for the most part were the 130+ over grinds in the field of 2023, more starts were converted into big hundreds, and in terms of days of cricket controlled, the improvements were clear.
