LOS ANGELES — Golden Boy Promotions and global sports streaming platform DAZN have officially renewed their partnership, continuing a collaboration that has helped shape modern boxing broadcasts since 2018.
The extended agreement ensures that Golden Boy events will remain a staple on DAZN, delivering world championship fights, pay-per-view cards, and contender series events aimed at developing the sport’s next generation of stars.
With the renewal, the partnership between the two organizations is set to approach a full decade.
Star-Studded Golden Boy Roster Remains Center Stage
Golden Boy continues to feature some of boxing’s biggest names and rising champions.
The promotion’s current lineup includes major stars such as Ryan Garcia, Gilberto Ramirez, Gabriela Fundora, Oscar Collazo, and rising contender Floyd Schofield.
The partnership has already produced several high-profile events in 2026, highlighting both established champions and emerging contenders within the Golden Boy stable.
Strong Start to 2026
Golden Boy and DAZN opened the year with significant momentum, delivering three major events during the first quarter of 2026.
Among the highlights:
- Ryan Garcia captured the World Boxing Council world title.
- Former World Boxing Organization interim champion Arnold Barboza Jr. returned to the ring.
- Unified minimumweight champion Oscar Collazo successfully defended his titles.
- Undisputed flyweight champion Gabriela Fundora continued her dominant run atop the division.
The momentum is expected to continue into the second quarter with a blockbuster Cinco de Mayo fight week event in Las Vegas, featuring a major showdown between David Benavidez and Gilberto Ramirez.
Oscar De La Hoya Confident in Future of Partnership
Golden Boy chairman and CEO Oscar De La Hoya praised the continued collaboration and its role in shaping boxing’s future.
“We’re firing on all cylinders right now,” De La Hoya said. “No one builds champions like we do. It’s a special formula mixed with a fighter’s talent, discipline and star power. As we approach a decade with DAZN, we’re going to keep setting the tone for the sport in 2026 and shaping the future of boxing.”
DAZN Committed to Expanding Global Boxing
DAZN executives also emphasized the importance of the long-term relationship.
Pete Oliver, CEO of Global Sports at DAZN, said the partnership remains key to delivering top-tier boxing content to fans around the world.
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Golden Boy,” Oliver said. “Oscar and the team consistently deliver world-class events and develop some of the most exciting talent in boxing. This renewed agreement strengthens our shared commitment to growing the sport globally and giving fans unmatched access to unforgettable fight nights. We’re excited for what comes next.”
As the deal enters its next chapter, Golden Boy and DAZN aim to continue building championship stars while delivering marquee fight nights to boxing fans worldwide.
