Golf Australia Magazine has finally published its full 2026 Top‑100 Courses list online, with huge interest centred on the debut ranking of the newly opened Seven Mile Beach.
Golf fans no longer need to chase down a print copy of Golf Australia Magazine to see the newly released Top‑100 Australian Golf Courses for 2026; the full rankings have now been published online for everyone to explore. Until now, only magazine buyers had access, but the digital release finally opened the list to the wider golfing community.
This year’s rankings arrive at a fascinating moment in Australian golf, with several major renovations completed across the country and a number of layouts changing significantly since 2024.
Among the biggest stories is the debut of Seven Mile Beach, which only opened its full 18 holes a few months ago. Early feedback from panellists – including those who toured the course before the public opening – suggested it would be a major contender, and its first appearance on the list has been one of the most anticipated elements of the entire release.
For full disclosure, I served as one of the ranking panellists for this year’s Top‑100.
Other notable updates include major transformations at Commonwealth and Huntingdale, and strong movement from redeveloped venues such as Mt Lawley, Links Kennedy Bay, and Pelican Waters, signalling just how dynamic the national landscape has become.
Golfers keen to see exactly where Seven Mile Beach landed can now read the full rankings and commentary directly on the Golf Australia Magazine website.
