The death has occurred of Gordon Poff at the age of 95, father of Nigel past president.
Gordon was educated at St. Andrew’s College and played for Old Wesley before moving to Suttonians RFC. His interest in Old Wesley was renewed when his grandsons David Poff and Andrew Godsil started playing for the club.
Gordon worked for Jacobs and was a keen amateur photographer. He was also a member of the Royal Life Saving Society.
Old Wesley extends its deepest sympathies to Gordon’s son Nigel, daughters Karen, Avril, Janet, his grandchildren and the rest of his family at this sad time.
