WWE brought Monday Night RAW to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on March 2, 2026. That arena’s hosted plenty of wild WWE nights before, and this one kept the streak alive.
GUNTHER was riding high after he retired AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble. That triggered a lot of insults at the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer, and his former tag team partner, Dragon Lee, jumped to defend him.
Dragon Lee and GUNTHER have been going at it for a while since then. This week on RAW, the two threw down in a singles contest and fans didn’t know what to expect.
Although Dragon Lee did get some offense in, he did not win the mask. In the process, GUNTHER also snatched off his mask and threw it to the side as he latched in a sleeper hold to cause the submission.
Dragon Lee’s face wasn’t fully shown on television, but his mask was totally taken off. This is a big no-no for luchador, as unmasking them can kill a character. Obviously, Dragon Lee will be back with the mask, but this was still a shocking moment.
This just goes to show that GUNTHER doesn’t care about legacy, legend, or tradition. He is a brutal Superstar and Dragon Lee certainly learned that this week on RAW.
