The energy at Moore Park and Hard Rock Stadium was electric as the International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF) brought its Be Legendary initiative to life in Miami. In what was the program’s largest activation to date, junior players from First Serve Miami brought excitement and enthusiasm from the classroom during lead-in lessons to the court on Friday, March 20.
For the first time, three Hall of Famers headlined. Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario and Bob and Mike Bryan connected with 100 kids from First Serve Miami, the grassroots youth tennis program founded by Hall of Famer Butch Buchholz in 1974, along with the organization’s community partners.

Take a look at the insights Arantxa, Bob, and Mike brought to life for the students.
1. Bringing the competitive energy with the “Barcelona Bumblebee”
Arantxa demonstrated the importance of hard work and hustle. Her legendary competitive spirit was on full display as she put her footwork drills into motion, keeping the energy high and showcasing the power of positivity.
2. Teamwork & Communication with the winningest doubles team in history
Bob and Mike taught their precise volleys and emphasized the importance of communication in doubles. The brothers’ personal tips highlighted how strong communication leads to elite court coverage — and elite results.
3. Busting the Moves and Grooves
When the lessons and questions were completed, it was time for the kids to share their own creativity with the Hall of Famers. The kids debuted the first Be Legendary dance for Bob and Mike, who joined in with their own moves — including their signature chest bump.
A Trip to Hard Rock Stadium
The action continued into Saturday, March 21, with the Be Legendary crew attending their hometown tournament, the Miami Open. With sunny skies, a lunch in a suite, and in-person views of top stars like Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys, the kids had the chance to dream big and see their Hall of Fame lessons come to life.
