Harbhajan Singh slams Pakistani journalist for his pathetic remarks

Former Indian cricket player Harbhajan Singh criticized a Pakistani reporter who attempted to challenge his opinion about India’s involvement in the 2025 Champion Trophy. Harbhajan responded with sarcasm to the Pakistani reporter who tried to make fun of him. Harbhajan had agreed with the BCCI’s decision not to send the Indian team to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The reporter shared a cricket scorecard from 2006, showing Harbhajan being hit for four sixes by Shahid Afridi during an India-Pakistan series.

The Pakistani reporter tried to make fun of the ex-Indian cricketer by implying that these were the security issues Harbhajan had been talking about. Harbhajan shared the reporter’s post and added a newspaper image from 2009, showing an attack on the Sri Lankan team bus by Pakistani terrorists. He used this example to highlight the security problems in the country and argued that this was why the Indian team should not go to Pakistan.

“Not for this. Cricket, Mai always seems to win. I’ll tell you the real issue here. Look at the photo. Now leave. You probably understand what F means, right? F stands for your name. Please don’t assume what you’re thinking about the meaning of F. You know what I’m getting at, right? Peace,” Harbhajan wrote in the caption on X.

Pakistan has been awarded the hosting rights for the Champions Trophy 2025. This will be a major event in the country after more than twenty years. Following the terrorist attack on Sri Lanka’s team bus, Pakistan was prohibited from hosting any international matches for ten years. Now, other countries are beginning to tour Pakistan again, but due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, there is no approval for their travel to the neighboring country.

Last year, during the Asia Cup, India played all their matches in Sri Lanka when Pakistan was the host country. The BCCI wants to have neutral locations like Sri Lanka or the UAE for the Champions Trophy games in 2025.
