In the recent time, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya remained silent on matters that brought him to the spotlight, except for fitness in Mumbai on Saturday. His expressionless face was masking his feelings as he tackles uncountable challenges both on and off the field. For a player who has been a hot topic for discussion along with all that happened to him in the recent times, Pandya came out with a pleasant smile and spoke on lines of fitness while launching his sports apparel brand.
Pandya and Natasha Stankovic officially announced their divorce two days ago, after four years of marriage. Right before that, Pandya lost his chance for T20 captaincy to Suryakumar Yadav.
Though, on Saturday, it was all about fitness for him.
“When our body does not get tired, our mind gets tired. So, so many times in my life, the difference between when I was able to push my limits was always the fact that when my mind gets tired, I will tell my body to just push because you will always have extra effort in your body,” Pandya said.
Ironically, his chance of becoming the captain were put aside due to fitness concerns itself, due to which he has not been able to play all 3 formats, especially in ODIs.
But during his first public appearance to launch his sports apparel, Pandya showed no impact of all that, and even though talks in the Indian cricket remains around his injury-prone situation, Pandya showed insights into his fitness.
