Hasan Ali, a fast bowler from Pakistan who has been out of form, has supported Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah in encouraging them to return, after the three players were removed from the Pakistani team on Sunday, October 13, for the last two Tests of the three-match series against England. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) went on social media site X (formerly known as Twitter) to share Pakistan’s squad for the home series last two encounters and explained that considering the form & fitness of the players, Babar, Shaheen and Naseem are being rested for the last fixtures of the series.
“Declaring that, due to the present form and physical condition of important athletes, as well as having the future in view, with respect to international cricket for Pakistan in 2024-25 season, it was decided by selection committee, that Babar Azam, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi will be rested. Abrar Ahmed (who is recovering from dengue fever) was not available for | postulant selection”, the PCB said in a release.
Posting a message for his ‘brothers’ was after Babar was dropped from the side, and Hasan took to X. In that tweet which is circulating now on the internet, he said that tough times make comebacks even better. He believes that Babar, Shaheen, and Naseem have brought great things to Pakistan cricket, and he wants them to have that faith in themselves again and work towards making a return”.
