Harry Brook uses wizardry to survive dismissal despite ball hitting stumps [WATCH]

In one of the most bizarre incidents in cricket, England’s Harry Brook narrowly avoided being bowled out while en route his century in the first of the three-match Pakistan vs England Test series. The incident happened earlier today on Day 3 (Wednesday, October 9).

This unusual occurrence happened when Brook was on 75 runs during the 76th over of England’s first innings. Although the ball struck the stumps, it failed to dislodge the bails.

Aamer Jamal delivered a length ball that Brook defended from the back foot. As he attempted to avoid it hitting his gloves, the ball bounced and then redirected towards the stumps. Fortunately, it lost enough speed before reaching the stumps to prevent a dismissal.
