Dortmund looked to have rescued a draw through Svensson’s stunning 84th-minute volley, only for Kimmich to produce a volley of his own and break their hearts. Harry Kane was needed at his record-breaking best to drag Bayern Munich back into the contest after Nico Schlotterbeck powered a header past Manuel Neuer to give Dortmund a first-half advantage.
