‘He admitted to stabbing death’

Initially Rommel Jonathan Bishop denied having anything to do with his brother’s death, telling police if he was home he might have been killed too.

However, he later recanted and admitted he was the one who had stabbed his sibling to death.

These were some of the facts read by acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Alliston Seale, SC, when Bishop appeared in the No. 2 Supreme Court yesterday.

Bishop, now 30, but 17 at the time, of Harlington, St Philip, was arraigned with murdering his brother Robert St Pierre, 19, of the same address, on May 4, 2011.
