Coaching course opportunities
The Education Team at scottishathletics have published our Coach and Leader Education Programme for Spring 2026.
Once again the series of opportunities has a wide selection of entry and coach level courses to enable volunteers to embark on their coaching and leading journey or progress to becoming a licensed coach.

28 February: LiRF at Aberdeen Sports Village
8 March: LiRF at Ayrshire Athletics Arena, Kilmarnock
22 March: Fell, Hill Mountain, Trail LiRF – Stirling
1 March: Coaching Assistant at Grangemouth Stadium
8 March: Coaching Assistant at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow
28 March: Coaching Assistant at Pitreavie Athletics Centre, Dunfermline
29 March: Coaching Assistant at The Emirates Arena, Glasgow
In partnership with sportscotland, a subsidy is available for individuals in our sport for whom embarking on a coach or leading journey may be challenging.
