Here is that photo all Newcastle United fans absolutely loving this Saturday evening

Aston Villa 1 Newcastle 3 – Saturday 14 February 2026 5.45pm

The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really really wanted to see on Saturday night!

Eddie Howe leading his team to a superb victory.

Aston Villa carrying all of the luck AND the appalling decisions from match officials.

Yet still the good guys winning in the end.

Eddie Howe and his players winning in the end thanks to two goals from Sandro Tonali and a late one from birthday boy Nick Woltemade.

United into the fifth round of the FA Cup.

A winning snapshot post-match.

The all important winning photo =  The nineteenth of the season.

Consecutive victories, consecutive away wins, two photos in a row.

The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

At least 15 more games to go this season in all competitions, so hopefully a fair few more of these photos to come.
