A late surge by Joppe Heremans, timed his move perfectly to take an important and surprised victory for the Continental team Van Rysel Roubaix, outgunning a peloton of WorldTour and ProTeam outfits. This is Heremans’ first as a pro and Lukas Kubis (Unibet) finished third and solidifies his position in the overall standings.
