here’s a series of records that Team India broke against Zimbabwe in the second T 20

India recovered from their loss in the first match against Zimbabwe with a strong performance in the second T20 game in Harare on Sunday. Their batters played aggressively, dominating the Zimbabwean bowlers at the Harare Sports Club. Abhishek Sharma scored a hundred off 47 balls and Ruturaj Gaikwad remained not out on 77. Rinku Singh then finished the innings well with a quick 48 not out off 22 balls, helping India reach 234 for 2 in their 20 overs.

Captain Shubman Gill, different from the previous game on Saturday, chose to bat first on a sunny day in Harare. The Indian players took advantage of the good weather and scored a lot of runs. Even though Captain Gill got out early, India still managed to score a very high total, mostly because of the strong performances by Abhishek, Ruturaj, and Rinku. The Zimbabwean bowlers couldn’t stop the aggressive batting from Abhishek, who scored his first hundred in a T20 international game, which was only his second game for India at this level.

In the first T20, India only scored 102 runs and couldn’t reach the target of 116, losing to the home team in a surprising result. But, the young Indian team played very aggressively with their bats in Harare on Sunday. India hit 14 sixes and 20 boundaries, setting the highest total ever against Zimbabwe in T20 cricket history.

Here’s the Records that were broken in yesterday’s match:

234: India’s score against Zimbabwe is the highest they’ve ever had and also the highest any team has scored in men’s T20 cricket against Zimbabwe.

160: On Sunday in Harare, India scored 160 runs in the final 10 overs, which is the most any team has scored in that time frame in T20 cricket matches between full-member teams.

2: Abhishek Sharma is the first Indian player to score a hundred in just his second T20 match.

46: Abhishek Sharma scored a very quick hundred for India in T20 cricket, tying for the third fastest. Only Rohit Sharma (35 balls) and Suryakumar Yadav (45 balls) reached a hundred faster.

23: Abhishek Sharma is the fourth youngest player from India to score a hundred in T20 international cricket. Yashasvi Jaiswal (21 years and 279 days), Shubman Gill (23 years and 146 days), and Suresh Raina (23 years and 156 days) were younger than Abhishek (23 years and 307 days).

77: CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 77 runs on July 7, which was a special day for MS Dhoni’s birthday.
