India’s second match of the 5-match T20I series against Zimbabwe saw a lot of records broken by the Indian team and this is one of them.
1. India vs Zimbabwe, 2024 – 160 runs
Thanks to Abhishek Sharma’s maiden ton and great knocks from both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rinku Singh by the end of the innings saw India post a mammoth total of 234 in the second T20I of their 5-match T20I series against Zimbabwe in Harare.
2. Sri Lanka vs Kenya, 2007 – 159 runs
After brilliant knocks from Sanath Jayasuriya and Mahela Jayawardene, Jehan Mubarak’s 46 runs off just 13 balls powered Sri Lanka to a huge total of 260. The match took place in Johannesburg in the T20 World Cup 2007.
3. Afghanistan vs Ireland, 2019 – 156 runs
Hazratullah Zazai’s incredible knock of 162 carried Afghanistan to a massive total of 278 against Ireland in Dehradun.
4. New Zealand vs West Indies, 2020 – 154 runs
Glenn Phillips and Devon Conway’s massive 184-run stand took the Black Caps to a huge total of 238 against West Indies at Mount Maunganui.
