Coastal Plain League member Holly Springs Salamanders has a new look. Compared to the previous one, it is a big improvement. The new look is Minor League-like and has a comic-like style.
I bet you may think: “Holly Springs Salamanders?” I must admit that I never heard of the team either, but I bumped into it thanks to an Instagram post in which the club announced the new looks and logos. The club plays in the Coastal Plains League and is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina.
The main logo shows a salamander in a batting stance wearing a baby blue jersey and ditto cap.
On the right there is a teaser, showing a variety of logos. The club has not announced yet which logo will serve which purpose.
When you compare the new look with the previous one, this new one is much better (yeah, yeah, matter of taste).
The script of the main logo is playful and has some markings on the striping just like some salamanders do have on their tail.

On the left there is the old main logo. Judge for yourself. I am not saying it is a bad logo, but the new one simply looks better.

The former cap logo is on the right. It shows the letters that stand for Holly Springs. The Salamander is crawling through the letters.
Unfortunately, no merch is available yet, so it is hard to compare the hats and jerseys. If the new merchandise will be up for sale, you will read it hear.
