Rocketeers are one of the most frustrating enemy types in Arc Raiders. Here’s the most reliable way to take them down in any encounter, with some very easy-to-find Items and Weapons.
Use Showstopper Grenades on Cooldown
The fastest and most consistent way to kill Rocketeers is by
cycling Showstopper grenades. These grenades can take a Rocketeer down to the ground for several seconds, allowing you and your Squad to take them down without getting blown up.
Whenever you see a Rocketeer preparing a volley, throw a Showstopper directly at it, then repeat the process every time it goes to fly away. This may take a few Showstopper grenades to do, so stock up!

Follow Up with Heavy Impact Items
After the initial stun, follow up with heavy impact explosives to fully break the Rocketeer:
Best Options for High Impact Damage on Arc
-
Hullcracker
— Perfect for chunking armor and quickly finishing a staggered target, but may be difficult to find. Alternatives would be any Heavy Ammo or Explosive Ammo weapon. -
Wolfpack
— Excellent burst damage and huge AoE, but expensive and hard to find. -
Standard Grenades
— Not as powerful, but very spammable and still effective when timed properly. Any that you have spare are good for when the Rocketeer is stunned.
The goal is simple:
stagger → burst → delete. Rocketeers rarely survive this combo.

Don’t Give Them Space
While the damage method is straightforward, positioning matters. Rocketeers become dangerous only when left alone at long range. Keep pressure on them:
-
Stay in mid-range where they can’t rain volleys uninterrupted.
-
Break line of sight when you need to reset and have accessible cover nearby.
-
Prioritize Rocketeers before dealing with weaker mobs.
Rocketeers look intimidating, but with proper stagger tools and explosive follow-ups, they’re some of the easiest enemies to shut down. Cycle Showstoppers, chain heavy impact items, and never let them freely fire—and you’ll erase them before they ever overwhelm your squad.
