The third annual NBA Cup is in the home stretch and there are only four teams remaining, who will play a pair of Semifinal contests on Saturday, Dec. 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The first NBA Cup Semifinal game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. EST and the second is at 9 p.m. EST and both will be broadcast on Prime Video. Fans looking to watch this game can do so on Prime Video, which offers a free trial and access to exclusive NBA games as well as plenty of other content, including WNBA and Thursday Night Football NFL games, tons of documentaries across sports and a plethora of tv shows and movies.
The first matchup is between the two Eastern Conference semifinalists, the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic. These two meet on Sunday, prior to their respective NBA Cup Quarterfinal matchups, and New York pulled out a 106-100 victory. Paolo Banchero was playing in his second game following an almost month-long absence that was triggered by injury in a 124-107 win for Orlando against the Knicks in November. Both teams went on to put up 117 points in NBA Cup Quarterfinal wins, with the Magic defeating the Toronto Raptors and New York knocking off the Miami Heat.
The other matchup sees the best team in the NBA, the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, looking to return to the NBA Cup finals, where they were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks last season, going against the up-and-coming San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are expecting to welcome back their own No. 1 pick, Victor Wembanyama, who hasn’t played since Nov. 14. Thanks to this contest, these teams will meet five times before the postseason, with three of those matchups coming between Dec, 13 and Dec. 25, and the other two happening on Jan. 13 and Feb. 4.
