With six months left until the 2026 World Cup, the world awaits to see the matchups for the prestigious tournament next summer. The 2026 World Cup Final Draw will take place today, Dec. 5, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The official World Cup draw will start at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT in the United States. In Mexico, the draw will start at 11 a.m. Central Time in Mexico City. In Canada, the draw will kick off at 12 p.m. in Ottawa and Toronto and 9 a.m. in Vancouver.

The two-hour event will feature high-profile musical performances, star-studded guests, and the official draw itself (more on how that works here).

With 48 teams competing in the next World Cup, there will now be a total of 12 groups instead of the traditional eight groups for a 32-team World Cup in previous years.

The FIFA World Cup Trophy is seen at the United States Capitol ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Draw in Washington, DC.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Draw can be watched across TV channels and online worldwide. The United States, Canada, and Mexico will have multiple coverage options such as FOX, Peacock, Telemundo, RDS, TSN1, TUDN, and ViX.
