“I want to play…”DPL star makes a massive wish ahead of the upcoming IPL auction.

Dude has Virat Kohli jersey number 18 on his back, reveres batting genius and dreams playing for his IPL side someday i.e. Royal Challengers Bangalore. Priyansh Arya, who became the first player to hit six sixes in an over in the ongoing tournament said that he was not paying much attention to how he could be picked up during the mega auction of Indian Premier League. Arya is presently the highest run scorer in DPL with an extraordinary total of 602 runs from 9 innings with two centuries under his belt. His average stands at a remarkable 75.25 while his strike rate remains welcomingly high – 198.0.

“Virat Kohli is my favourite, I want to play for RCB. My favorite team is RCB; I am a big fan of Virat’s way of playing—a lot of aggression. I too enjoy playing aggressively,” Priyansh said during an exclusive interview with PTI Videos on Tuesday.

On six consecutive maximums he said “I had this thing in mind that if a left-arm spinner comes on to bowl, I would just hit him outta Park. After the fourth six, I started to believe that I can hit six sixes and will go for that. Then Ayush supported me saying go kill!” he recalled about his game.

Arya, who may become the record-holder for most runs scored by a batsman in state-level T20 leagues in India within a single season, however, is gunning for the DPL trophy. He commended captain Ayush Badoni for his ability to lead and confirmed that he was never short of encouragement to all who wanted to go on field and show what they are capable of particularly in sports.

“Badoni’s very laid back and doesn’t talk much, he only tells us to express ourselves. The team’s atmosphere is peaceful; coaches speak about things that are good rather than bad ones. Winning the trophy is our foremost goal.”

“Moving from one match to another because the semi-final and final are two key matches,” said he.

Towards the end of tournament South Delhi Superstarz also made some notable alterations in their playing 11.

Captain Badoni was spotted sitting on the bench and that choice had ambushed South Delhi.

“Ayush took the risk for changes in the team. Our team will become strong again when he comes back. We were able to rectify where we were lacking and where we could perform better,” he concluded.
