Blessing Muzurbani, a Zimbabwean pacer, stated that it would be great if they could dismiss Shubman Gill in the forthcoming series against India that kicks off on Saturday, July 6th. Gill shall captain a youthful team representing his country in his inaugural responsibility as their captain where he has an opportunity to show the leadership style he possesses himself by leading such players like him who are still under 21 years old throughout the games.”
During a special discussion for Indiatoday.in, Muzurbani was quizzed about whether Gill was earmarked for quick removal and deletion by him. Nevertheless, the Zimbabwean fast bowler said he has deep regard for the world-renowned Indian player feeling he has already entered the big league worldwide. However, he said he goes about his business in a slightly different manner from other bowlers where in other words for him he would just let them fall.
Muzurbani said, “I think I’m kind of different from maybe some other bowlers. I respect Shubman Gill a lot because he has already done so much at such a tender age in international cricket. He is actually a very serious person in the cricket world. But personally every wicket I take comes naturally; I do not really care about any player, and want to make anybody my bunny or something like that,Actually.
The goal at the end of the day according to Muzurbani is to ensure Zimbabwe get over the line and he is not really looking at the names he will be up against.
“Zimbabwe’s mission is to win the game. Whether you take a wicket/you don’t take one. It’s all about the team and I will try to play my part effectively. Therefore, i am not really considering the names but what they do in the field instead. So, either I get rid of them or not at all… that helps us win the game so its achievement for us. So it’s just like that in my mind. However Shubman is really a good batsman. I would really love to dismiss him,” Muzurbani said.”
The five match series between the two sides Starts from July 6 .
