The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that the final of the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) will be held at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The match is scheduled to take place from June 11 to 15, with June 16 designated as a reserve day if needed.
This marks the first time that Lord’s will host the WTC final. The previous two finals, in 2021 and 2023, were held at The Oval, another historic venue in London.
ICC CEO Geoff Allardice expressed excitement about the event, stating, “The ICC World Test Championship Final has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the cricketing calendar. It’s a testament to the enduring appeal of Test cricket, which continues to captivate fans around the world.”
